The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance will be hosting a mobile mammography event at the Gig Harbor Safeway on Monday, October 24 from 9:00 am until all 25 available exams are complete.
Most insurances fully cover mammograms, but for those who will be paying cash, the SCCA offers a 10% cash pay discount making this opportunity too good to pass up. To schedule your appointment, please call 206-288-7800. Last month, SCCA was able to provide 100 mammograms at no cost to low income women and hopes to secure additional grant funding in January to provide even more, so if you cannot afford your screening, please check back then to see if you can get on the list.
